6/26/08 - Waiting on Wx to FKL (T. Camp)

07:11 ET - Still planning to make it at least to Franklin, PA today but we are held up checking on the weather. Waiting for some air to clear up between here and there. Should know more within the hour and we will be on our way. More to follow. - Teresa

6/26/08 - Made it to FKL (Pennsylvania) (T. Camp)

11:11 ET - We landed at FKL Franklin (Venango) Penn. a short time ago. All of Evelyn’s family and friends are here along with the press. We are mini celebrities and they took pictures and were very nice and interested in the trip. Amazingly even Evelyn’s English teacher came out to greet us. We will all have lunch now and see how the day goes. We are close enough to the end of the race, that we may be able to hold up here a bit and enjoy visiting a bit.—Cheers!

6/26/08 -(SET) Trixie’s Home Airport (B. Camp)

16:00 CST—Sad to say, Trixie’s home airport is taking on flood water. Hangars are on the lower side of the airport and the Commemorative Air Force hangar is on the east side of Smartt field so no water yet to encroach on their historic warbirds. Trixie will likely have to find a temporary home when she returns from the race while the tarmac and hangars get a good power washing .
